I hope you join me to honour Suzue Kobayashi-Kimoto and her love of animals, by making a donation to the BC SPCA in her name. I have created this page dedicated to her memory. Suzue enjoyed the companionship of 9+ dogs, during her lifetime, plus several generations of Buddhist temple dogs named John (all Pointers) in Japan where she was born. Mrs. Suzue Kobayashi-Kimoto, 95, of Surrey, BC, formerly of Montreal, PQ, and born in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka, Japan, died peacefully in her sleep on January 16, 2022.
Suzue worked at YKK Zipper (Montreal) for 25 years and devoted her time to the study of shigin. Suzue founded the Montreal branch of the Kokusai Ryu Shigin Kai with her late husband Mr. Miyokichi Kimoto and their friends. After retirement, Suzue moved to Vancouver, BC where she continued to teach Kokusei Ryu Shigin Kai.
Her remains will rest with the late Mr. Miyokichi Kimoto, in Montreal at the Mount Royal Cemetary. No memorial service. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to BCSPCA
