Over 100 million sharks are killed every year for human use, crashing their populations world-wide. Federal Bill C-246 would ban the importation and sale of shark fins in Canada. As the bill is currently being debated, now is the time to contact your MP for their support. The Modernizing Animal Protections Act will directly benefit sharks amongst other improvements for companion animals.
