Two decades of nurturing nature

The BC SPCA’s Wild ARC is excited to be celebrating its 20th year in operation, admitting more than 40,000 wild patients in that time. Caring for all those wild animals in need would not have been possible without the incredible dedication of the staff, volunteers and members of the community who support this important work.

A release to remember

In spring 2018, a lucky Wild ARC supporter will join our team on the west coast to release our three baby river otters. As the trio settles in for winter into the large pool pen facility, watch them hone their skills on our Crittercam and prepare for life in the wild. Thanks to all for supporting the orphan otter rescue!

Did you know that you can help them just by putting off your usual fall yardwork? Avoid that last mow and rake of the season, and you can create a winter haven for wildlife.
