We’re not just about cats and dogs at the SPCA. Small animals also come into our care – and they need homes! Right now the most common small animals at our shelters are guinea pigs and rats.
Cheddar and Cheese are a pair of guinea pigs up for adoption at the Coquitlam SPCA. They are two years old and love having lots of space to explore and spending time with people.
Cody is a young rat looking for his home from the Nanaimo SPCA. He’s a curious and social guy, and would love to be adopted with one or all of his brothers!
Even great guardians have pets that go missing sometimes. Losing a beloved furry family member can be a very scary experience. If this happens to you, there are things you can do to help find your pet faster! Watch this video so you’ll know what to do if your pet goes missing.
You can also learn what to do if you find someone else’s lost pet, to help get them back together.
Are you signed up for a BC SPCA spring break camp? We – and the animals – can’t wait to see you!
If not, there is still space available for select weeks and locations. Check it out!
Don’t see anything available in your area? You may get another chance this summer! Be the first to find out when registration opens up. Simply scroll to the bottom of the camp page and sign up to be notified.
