Adenovirus hemorrhagic disease confirmed in B.C. deer

On top of the change to winter, Vancouver Island deer are facing an additional challenge this winter. The provincial government has confirmed that Adenovirus Hemorrhagic Disease (AHD) has been found in deer on Galiano and Mayne Islands and from the Maple Bay area of the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island.
