Things like Christmas lights and fake snow can be fun for the holidays - but some decorations are downright scary for our wild neighbours! A new federal petition is seeking change around the use of fireworks. Fireworks have widespread effects on animals, causing birds to flee (and die) en masse, disturbing marine mammals and polluting the environment. They also cause extreme distress for anxious pets, and can traumatize refugees and veterans with PTSD and people with sensory difficulties. Sign the petition for change.
