Half the price, all the love
Get all of the love for half the price during the BC SPCA’s Half Price Love cat and rabbit adoption event, presented by Hill’s Pet Nutrition, from July 14-20. Many cats, rabbits and kittens are patiently waiting to be adopted in BC SPCA shelters throughout the province for half the price of the usual adoption fees!
Take action for dairy cattle
Last month, undercover video revealed extremely disturbing scenes of animal cruelty on a Chilliwack dairy farm, highlighting an urgent need for better standards to protect farm animals from abuse and neglect. You can help make this happen by writing to your MLA to ask for better protection for dairy cattle and other farm animals.
Focus on the best of B.C.’s wildlife this summer
Shutterbug alert: Bringing your camera with you this summer can make all the difference for the BC SPCA’s sixth annual Wildlife-In-Focus Photography Contest, which is open for entries from July 1 through Sept. 30. So snap away, whether sitting in your backyard or scaling a mountain in British Columbia’s vast and stunning wilderness.
