Late fall signals raptor season for wildlife rehabilitators, and reflective windows pose a distinct hazard for urban and migratory birds. This season, BC SPCA Wild ARC admitted three Northern saw-whet owls in as many days, all suffering from head trauma after hitting windows. Luckily, there are simple steps homeowners can take to prevent these collisions.
