Bring animal welfare back to school
With school starting next week, the BC SPCA is ready to help educators bring animal welfare into their classrooms. BC SPCA curriculum units not only introduce kids to different animal issues, but also give teachers fresh and unique ways to engage students in required subjects. Educators can also book a school presentation or form a BC SPCA school club.
Thanks to you, we’re more than halfway to our goal!
Thanks to the kindness of animal lovers across the province and beyond, the BC SPCA’s Million Acts of Kindness movement has now surpassed the half-million mark, which means more than 500,000 kind acts for animals have been carried out this year. Kudos to all participants! Every act helps improve the lives of companion, farm and wild animals in B.C. Join us and fight cruelty with kindness today.
Speak up for animals
Do you feel strongly about Canadian animal welfare? The BC SPCA wants animal welfare to be on the political agenda for this year’s federal election – and we need your help!

Good intentions can harm
