Last chance for comment on Canada’s Code of Practice for Beef Cattle

beef cattleEach year in Canada, millions of cattle are raised in the beef industry. The BC SPCA is representing the Canadian humane movement at the Code table, and is helping bring concerns about current farming practices to light to encourage change.

The public comment period for the Beef Cattle Code closes on March 8, so don’t miss your chance to have your say on important issues like the use of pain relief in dehorning and castration.
