Dear Scotiabank & BC SPCA Paws for a Cause participant,

Every September we are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support that comes from people like you who love animals and participate in our Scotiabank & BC SPCA Paws for a Cause walks. Across the province, people of all ages come out, rain or shine, to show they are there to help animals in need.  We remain so grateful.

The hundreds of thousands of dollars raised in support of our work help the animals who need us the most in communities across this province.  The BC SPCA appreciates how hard you work for every dollar raised and we are proud to let you know we have earned an “A+” in overall efficiency, fundraising efficiency and transparency in a recent survey of 100 Canadian charities by MoneySense magazine. Thank you for joining us in this very important event helping animals.  Your support, in all its forms, helps give homeless, injured and abused animals the second chance they deserve. Without people like you who want to help, our cruelty investigations, as well as medical, sheltering, education and advocacy work simply wouldn’t be possible.  On behalf of the animals, thank you again for showing you care.  I wish you the best of luck with your fundraising and we look forward to seeing you in September.
