Canada’s standards for chickens and turkeys are now being updated for the first
time in 12 years. Don’t miss your chance to have your say in the

Helping B.C.'s cats with kindness
Cathy Brzoza, treasurer for Nanaimo’s
CatNap Society, is a great example of how kindness counts. Through a BC SPCA
spay/neuter grant partnership, she has helped change the lives of nearly 80
cats in 2015. Such partnerships are a crucial part of ending the homeless
animal crisis in B.C. Learn how

Handsome Napoleon has a beautiful grey coat, large golden eyes and is approximately two-years-of-age. A big bossy boy, Napoleon is accepting the presence of other cats and adores the attention of his human staff.

Little Marley came into the care of the BC SPCA Chilliwack Branch in May 2015 when her previous owner no longer had time to care for her. This sad event ended well for Marley as she was quickly adopted into a loving family. Read her happy "tail."
New Kelowna barn
The BC SPCA’s new Recovery & Adoption Barn in Kelowna is officially open! The new facility will temporarily house horses and farm animals rescued from abusive or neglectful situations.
