Join the movement to fight cruelty with kindness
It takes just
one kind act to change the life of an animal forever. As the BC SPCA launches
its Million Acts of Kindness campaign to celebrate 120 years of helping the
province’s most vulnerable animals, we’re encouraging everyone to join us in
signing up to participate and carry out acts of kindness throughout 2015.
Kindness is contagious – help spread the word!
Helping B.C.’s animals can be sweet as cupcakes
Get ready to
bake a difference for the animals! Will you be hosting your National Cupcake
Day party with friends, colleagues or pets? Visit nationalcupcakeday.ca to get
your recipe for a successful fundraising bake-a-thon. Be sure to share your
sweet plans with your family and friends; not everyone can bake, but everyone
can eat a cupcake – especially if it’s for the animals.
Is your pet spayed or neutered?
February is Spay/Neuter Awareness Month and the BC SPCA is calling on all pet guardians to help create more humane communities throughout British Columbia by sterilizing their pets – especially cats. There are tens of thousands of cats living outdoors across the province, suffering from frostbite, illness, predator attacks and starvation. Sterilized animals live longer, healthier lives as well.
Adopt me!
Adorable Carnia is very shy. She would do well in a quiet household, without young children or too much activity, where she can take her time to come out of her shell and relax in her own space.
Read my happy "tail"
Once a sad, fearful pup, Daisy now embraces life and all it has to offer, celebrating each new day with her loving family and the canine friends she has made along the way.
Kids & kindness
