The 2010 Scotiabank & BC SPCA Paws for a Cause Kid’s t-shirt Contest has a winner!

Congratulation Jayden DePlonty, of Winfield, BC!

Jayden’s artwork will displayed on more than 5,000 Scotiabank & BC SPCA Paws for a Cause youth t-shirts across the province!

Jayden raised an impressive $875 making her not just a successful artist, but a great fundraiser for the animals too! Jayden’s winning design is of her three beloved pets Eemo, Punkin & Sadie who are sadly no longer with us.  

 “In memory of three of the greatest pets ever!  I miss you all!”

Jayden has participated in the Kelowna Paws for a Cause walk for the past three years and continues to raise the bar each year. This ten-year-old animal champion has set her 2010 goal at $1,000!

We would like to thank all who entered this year’s contest for both their amazing drawings and their fundraising skills. Honourable mention goes to Emma Kononowicz, Darynn Bednarczyk and Kristin Linkletter who all raised more than $600 to help the animals!
