Found on the doorstep after he had been missing for a couple of days, Noel had a huge amount of skin missing from his torso, a badly broken leg and some trauma to his lungs.
Rushed in to the local vet in Haida Gwaii for emergency care, it was unclear if this six month old Yorkshire Terrier mix had a chance. He needs at least 2 surgeries to fix his mangled leg and 24 hour care at the vet until skin grows back enough to be able to stitch the wound closed.
On top of all this, the vet clinic in Haida Gwaii is closed for the holidays. He needs to fly in to Vancouver where he can receive his extensive treatment.
He'll need 3-4 weeks in vet care and then another month in foster.
We couldn't let this adorable little guy lose his life, so we are raising funds to #SAVENOEL
Personal updates for Noel will be provided to anyone who donates to his campaign.
*Goal includes: surgery, medication, vaccinations, regular health check, and daily care for Noel until he’s ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
