Suzy's hip was broken and she never received care, which has left her in pain for far too long.
"She limps constantly and sits funny from the break not healing properly," shares Alyssa Stauble, branch manager at the North Cariboo BC SPCA. "It's really heartbreaking, because she's so young and wants to play all day, but she can't."
Suzy is only a year old and should be runnining around; however, she needs your help to get the surgery that will free her of pain.
This surgery - called a femoral head osteotomy - will remove the top part of her femur (thigh bone), which fits into the hip joint. Once removed, tissue will take over and she will finally be free of the constant agony caused by the damaged joint.
You can be the one who gives her that surgery. You can be the one that enables Suzy to play again.
