Ginger was hobbling alone when she was found. The kind person who found her rushed her to the vet where it was discovered that she had a spiral fracture on her hind leg. The break was so bad that shards of bone poked through her leg, causing a wound and joint pain.
What happened to sassy little Ginger? We're not sure.
But what we do know is that she needs your help.
Initially fearful, once she started receiving pain medicine, she began to relax and her personality began to shine through. "She is a total lap dog and only ever wants to cuddle you," tells Candace Buchamer, branch manager at the North Peace BC SPCA.
By providing Ginger with the surgery and followup care she needs, you will free her of pain and give her the life she deserves.

*Goal includes: surgery, medication, vaccinations, regular health check, and daily care for Ginger until she’s ready for adoption. If her medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in her name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
