UPDATE:
Thank you so much to everyone for helping sweet senior Gypsy! She is well on her way to a full recovery, and as you can see she is just loving all the attention from shelter staff.
Because of you she will be able to live out her golden years in one very lucky adopters home. THANK YOU!
Gypsy's story is tragic and all too common. She stayed with her owner right to the end, but when the owner passed, there was no one to care for this gentle senior girl. A friend of the deceased took her in for a short time, but the Strata would not let them keep her due to a one dog rule.
So here she is at a shelter and not in the best shape either. She needs surgery for her cherry eye so it stops irritating her and making her susceptible to infection. She also has a painful broken tooth.
While we would hope that people make a plan for their animals in case anything happened to them, that is not always the case and we have to come together to make sure no animal is left to suffer.
Please help this highly adoptable senior girl enjoy her twilight years without this ongoing pain by donating today. Seniors deserve love too!
Personal updates for Gypsy will be provided to anyone who donates to her campaign.
*Goal includes: surgery, medication, vaccinations, regular health check, and daily care for Gypsy until she’s ready for adoption. If her medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in her name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
