Can you see the break in Milo's leg? If you have ever seen an X-Ray before, you will know that breaks are often hard to see... not this time.
The bone in Milo's leg was quite literally snapped in half. This gorgeous orange tabby is completely unable to use this leg and it's too late to save it, his best option is to amputate.
Lucky that the bone hadn't broken through the skin yet, this break could have gotten much worse and even caused infection and death.
If all this wasn't enough, Milo came in to the shelter the same week as 65 other cats from a large surrendering case. Branch resources are stretched far beyond normal, but they are determined to get this boy healthy and into the forever home he deserves.
Brought in as a stray, no one has come to claim this five month old kitten or take responsibility for his painful injury.
We may not know how or why this terrible break happened, but we do know that he needs to be taken care of as best we can now. Please donate towards his surgery and care. Help this boy get to the bright future we know is ahead of him!
Personal updates for Milo will be provided to anyone who donates to his campaign.
*Goal includes: surgery, medication, vaccinations, regular health check, and daily care for Milo until he’s ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
