Pinna is a white and brown lionhead rabbit who is approximately 2 years old. She is a quiet, friendly, and very sociable.
Pinna has a terrible injury to her nose, possibly the result of a predator or being poked by a sharp object such when going through fencing.
This injury can be grave for a rabbit, a rabbit can only breathe through it’s nose, so you will never see a panting rabbit. They also have a very keen sense of smell which allows them to identify food below their nose, which is useful because they cannot see directly under their nose. Illnesses that cause a rabbit to be congested can be hard on them. They can’t breathe if their nose is clogged, so it is important to take him to the vet quickly so he can start to breathe easily again.
Pinna is a domesticated bunny that has no business being out in the wild trying to defend herself. With no ID and no inquiries at the shelter for a lost lionhead, it is impossible to find her previous gaurdians.
Thankfully, Pinna was Found by a good samaritan in a rural area of Kamloops and brought in to be fixed up and adopted into a forever home.
Please help Pinna get the urgent care she needs by donating today.
Personal updates for Pinna will be provided to everyone that donates to her campaign.
*Goal includes: surgery, medication, vaccinations, regular health check, and daily care for Pinna until she’s ready for adoption. If her medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in her name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
