There were very few pictures of Maggie that we thought were even appropriate to post. This gorgeous Calico was found with such severley matted fur, it clearly needed to be shaved off. Underneath was something so gruesome it was difficult for staff to even talk about.
A festering wound full of maggots was beneath all that matted fur.
It appears Maggie was attacked by a large animal of some kind that caused some deep puncture wounds to her hind end that became very infected, she also has an ear infection and, of course, needs dental work.
Maggie has been an amazing champion during her treatments. She has been receiving hydrotherapy 3 times a day for 43 days and her spirits have never wavered.
We thought that someone might come in and claim this sweet girl, but no one has. The bills have piled up for her life saving treament and now she needs your help.
Show Maggie you care by donating towards her medical care today.
