Fender is just 6 months old and he has already nearly said goodbye to this world. He was picked up on the side of the highway by a good Samaritan after a hit & run. 

Fender has a fractured leg, pelvis and femoral head. He will need orthopedic surgery to repair his leg and put in a plate. He will need 8 weeks of bandages, cast changes and physical therapy (included in estimated cost). 

This pointer/heeler cross puppy is a very friendly guy, despite being in immeasurable pain.

The owner was found but they relinquished him to BC SPCA care.

This smart & caring boy has already been such a trooper through his initial care. We know he will be make the most amazing companion once he is healthy enough to be adopted.
