Nunki was recently surrendered to to the BC SPCA Sea to sky branch at just 7 months old and had 3 tiny kittens. A baby having babies.
She was put in a foster home with her kittens and shortly after it was noticed that her back right leg was not right.
Nunki has never been without pain. She was born with a luxating patella and a coxofemural sub-luxation. This means that her back right leg knee and hip have been out of the socket her entire life leaving her with a heavy limp and in a lot of pain. The only way to help her live pain free is surgery.
Nunki is a petite, smart tuxedo cat with a personality to shine. She is very social with people and dogs and in the time she has been in her foster home, has taught herself how to use the human toilet to do her kitty business.
It always amazes us at how animals can go through so much and still come out the other end so loving and sweet. Nunki is a perfect example of this.
Please help this tiny injured mother of 3 by donating to her medical fund today.
Personal updates for Nunki will be provided to anyone who donates to her campaign.
*Goal includes: surgery, medication, vaccinations, regular health check, and daily care for Nunki until she’s ready for adoption. If her medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in her name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
