Daisy came to the Prince Rupert Branch with Demodex mange that had been left for so long that the slightest touch to her skin would make it bleed.
She had infections in her skin from scratching so much and causing pockets of infection throughout her body.
This condition takes time to heal and her treatments will be on going for quite some time, likely two months before she will be ready for adoption.
Daisy is an eight month old border collie mix and despite her awful skin condition, is very sweet and gentle. She sits quietly while we bathe her and soak her feet. She gives the most gentle little licks.
Personal updates for Daisy will be provided to anyone who donates to her campaign.
*Goal includes: surgery, medication, vaccinations, regular health check, and daily care for Daisy until she’s ready for adoption. If her medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in her name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
