Hoss came into care after being seized by an RCMP officer who attended the property on an unrelated issue. The Constable found him in a tiny, dirty bathroom covered in urine and feces with no food or water. His nails were very overgrown and his hair was tangled and matted.
RCMP Seized him and brought him to the shelter.
His skin was dirty and crusty and his spine was prominent which lead us to believe he was not eating well. In the short time he has been with us, his health has improved and he has started to gain weight, however without this oral surgery to correct years of severe neglect, his health will deteriorate.
This little old man deserves a loving home for his last years of life. He came from horrid, dirty conditions and lived with someone with mental heath issues who could not care for him properly.
Hoss is a lovely 17 year old Chinese crested who would love to have his own soft bed and lap to call his own. He loves people and his tail is always wagging! He grunts at you when he is happy and wants to only be loved.
Hoss needs oral surgery to help him eat without pain. Please help this senior citizen live out his final days better than they have ever been before.

Personal updates for Hoss will be provided to anyone who donates to his campaign.
*Goal includes: surgery, medication, vaccinations, regular health check, and daily care for him until he is ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care are less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
