Halston was found unresponsive on the side of the road by RCMP and bylaw officers. They rushed him to the vet and we were contacted from there.
This sweet boy was in very bad shape. Halston had a dislocated elbow, collapsed lung, and soft tissue damage from road rash.
Halston was in shock after being hit by a vehicle, he even required oxygen therapy upon arrival at the vet. He wasn't stable enough to go under anesthetic so the elbow couldn't immediately be popped back in. He was stable enough the following day to have this done.
Bills have quickly added up for Halston's urgent care, but this boy is worth every penny. An absolute trooper through his care so far, he is nothing but lovely to everyone he meets. Please help Halston with his care and recovery by donating now.
Personal updates for Halston will be provided to anyone who donates to his campaign
*Goal includes: surgery, medication, vaccinations, regular health check, and daily care for Halston until he’s ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
