A Good Samaritan witnessed a cat being hit by a car, they promptly acted and rushed Seven to an emergency vet.
The cat, now known as seven, suffered trauma to his back end including fractured pelvis and femur.
During the urgent surgery, the vet team discovered Seven having breathing issues, it was soon found that the problem was that part of his liver was in his thoracic (chest) cavity pressing on his lung because of a tear in his diaphragm. The pain must have been unimaginable.
Stable for now, Seven will have to go back under for more surgery when he is doing a little better. Rehab will be long and hard for Seven, they plan to work with him for 10-12 weeks post surgery to make sure he can have a full life.
Seven’s overall care is going to put a significant strain on the medical budget, he needs your help to pull through!
This charming & friendly boy is going to make a wonderful pet; he's already made a lot of friends at the clinic! Please donate today towards his surgery and care.
Personal updates for Seven will be provided to anyone who donates to his campaign.
*Goal includes: surgery, medication, vaccinations, regular health check, and daily care for Seven until he’s ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
