Finn was run over! When the incident occurred Finn's front leg was extended over her head and she suffered extreme nerve damage. After weeks of physio in the owners home, Finn began to chew the damaged limb and even chewed a couple toes right off :( She now requires front limb amputation to remove the lifeless leg and prevent further damage.
She will require about 4 weeks of after care and follow up exams to ensure the surgery site heals well and without infection.
Finn has gone through a traumatic ordeal with an extreme amount of pain. Despite this she greeted us on intake with a wagging tail, sparkling happy eyes and a lick of approval. She is just very outgoing, friendly and affectionate and obviously still has a great deal of loving left to give.
Personal updates for Finn will be provided to anyone who donates to her campaign.
*Goal includes: surgery, medication, vaccinations, regular health check, and daily care for Finn until she’s ready for adoption. If her medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in her name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
