This boy poor was found abandoned in a crate in the middle of Burnaby Mountain, just left there to die. It is hard to say how long he may have been there before someone saw him and thankfully called us to go pick him up. He was very scared when we found him.
This one-year-old cat is underweight and in need of oral surgery. He will need two root canals and the surgery must be done by a specialist because the procedure could fracture the cat’s jaw.
There is an open investigation as it is a situation of cruelty for abandoning him in a crate on the mountain, but there is no information to follow up on for an investigation. If anyone recognizes Turkey, we ask that you call the BC SPCA Cruelty Line at 1-855-622-7722.
He is shy young boy that went through a very traumatic experience and deserves to find a loving forever home. Please help show Turkey there is kindness in this world by donating to his surgery and care today.
Personal updates for Turkey will be provided to anyone who donates to his campaign.
*Goal includes: surgery, medication, vaccinations, regular health check, and daily care for Turkey until he’s ready for adoption. If her medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
