Chilli recently came into our care after a good Samaritan found him wandering and struggling to survive on his own in the cold of winter. He has the most extreme case of dental disease that shelter staff have ever seen and will require full-mouth extractions which will sadly leave him with no teeth at all.
“He is very shy, and has never been walked on a leash. He is nervous of hands reaching out for him but once he warms up he loves coming up for pets & ear scratches! He is so deserving of a second chance.” – Branch Manager Chelsea Taylor says.
Chilli will need at least a month of recovery from his procedure and he will be on a special diet to help him eat properly. Even with no teeth, Chilli has a great second chance for a better life and deserves to be shown the love he’s never had!
Personal updates for Chilli will be provided to anyone who donates to his campaign.
*Goal includes: surgery, medication, treatment, vaccinations, regular health check, and daily care for Chilli until he’s ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
