Two-year-old Harley is a goofy and playful Rottweiler girl who has a ruptured cranial cruciate ligament in her poor little right hind leg! This injury most likely happened over some time, as her ligaments were slowly weakened to the point of rupturing. Currently every step Harley takes on her right leg causes extreme pain and discomfort.
Harley will require surgery to fix her leg and careful monitoring to ensure it heals properly.
Harley also came in with terrible bacterial skin and ear infections. She will need treatment with antibiotics, as well as special medicated baths to help her sore skin heal. It will take about 8 weeks for Harley to recover. She won’t be able to play with other dogs and can only go on bathroom break walks. This will be really hard for an active dog like Harley, who loves to run and play, but we need her leg to heal properly!
Harley has an excellent chance of recovering after surgery and will be a wonderful, active and playful addition to someone’s home when she is healed. This goofball is more than deserving of a second chance to be comfortable and happy.
Will you donate to Harley’s care?
Personal updates for Harley will be provided to anyone who donates to her campaign.
*Goal includes: surgery, medication, treatment, regular health check, and daily care for Harley until she’s ready for adoption. If her medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in her name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
