8-month old kitten Sonic was recently brought into care when he accidently ate something he shouldn’t have! It was obvious he was in a lot of pain and discomfort when he came in, and xrays showed a blockage in his intestines.
Sonic required emergency surgery to remove the object from his little body, as it could have been fatal for him if not dealt with quickly. They were able to remove the object successfully and he’s currently healing from his procedure.
The minute Sonic came into care he was incredibly affectionate and loving to all the staff. He understood that they were there to help him, and even after his surgery all he wants to do is give everyone love! Often cats will eat objects they shouldn’t because of boredom or curiosity, so Sonic is getting lots of playtime with cat toys and strings! He is simply young and just needs to learn how to be a cat.
Will you donate to Sonic’s care so he can heal and find his new furever family?
Personal updates for Sonic will be provided to anyone who donates to his campaign.
*Goal includes: surgery, medication, treatment, regular health check, and daily care for Sonic until he’s ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
