A good Samaritan and cat lover was just sitting and relaxing when this handsome boy limped into their enclosed porch, clearly looking for help! Freddie was not in good shape. He was underweight with a bad fracture to his front leg and an extremely bad case of ear mites. The ear mites were irritating poor Freddie and causing him so much pain that he has self inflicted scratches behind his ears and head. Freddie has clearly been in agony for some time. Thankfully, when he could not bear it any longer, he reached out for help from a kind stranger.
The vet has recommended amputation as the only way to provide Freddie with a pain free life. His leg is not healing the way it should and we do not want to put him through even more than he’s already been through. Freddie will also require vaccines and a neuter surgery when he is healthy enough.
Even while in pain, Freddie is sweet and kind. He comes to visit as soon as someone comes into his view and begins purring even before they reach him. At only one year old, he will adjust to life with 3 legs quickly and easily. His amazing personality will win the hearts of everyone that meets him!
Will you help Freddie get the care he so desperately needs and deserves?
Personal updates for Freddie will be provided to anyone who donates to his campaign.
*Goal includes: surgery, medication, treatment, regular health check, and daily care for Freddie until he’s ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
