Adorable 8-month-old Joss needs your help! This sweet pup was discovered as a stray along with another dog. The good Samaritan who found the pair could tell something was wrong with Joss’ leg by the way she was walking. Thank goodness they were scooped up and brought in so they wouldn’t continue to suffer alone, especially as the temperatures are dropping so quickly now.
When Joss was examined, the vet discovered she had suffered an older injury to her leg. Even though she’s young, Joss needs hip surgery! A femoral head operation will help restore mobility in her hip so she can walk without pain. Once she is healed from her surgery, she will also need a spay surgery.
Joss is an absolute sweetheart with people. The branch staff love to spend time with her. She wants to meet and make friends with every single person who comes by! Joss will happily wag her tail and reach up to give kisses during cuddle time. If we bring her back in from one of her short walks, she must stop and say hello to every staff member she passes for some pets. She’s a bit afraid of other dogs, which is why this sweet gal prefers hanging out with her humans friends and getting all the undivided attention!
Joss has so much life left ahead of her and once she is healed from her surgeries, she will make the BEST companion!
Will you show Joss the love she’s been missing? Help her get this essential surgery.
Personal updates for Joss will be provided to anyone who donates to her campaign.
*Goal includes: surgery, medication, vaccinations, regular health check, and daily care for Joss until she’s ready for adoption. If her medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in her name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
