Four-month-old Carina was found on the side of the road after being hit by a car! She was thankfully spotted by some very kind Samaritans who scooped her up and brought her in so she could get help.
Carina was quickly rushed into emergency care when she arrived, and the vet discovered she had a fractured jaw from the impact. She was given medication to manage her obvious pain.
Her x-rays showed that the fracture had gone through an un-erupted adult tooth in her lower jaw while also fracturing the crown of one of her baby teeth. Carina now requires a specialized surgery to help repair her jaw and the fractured teeth.
Despite the pain that she is in with her broken jaw, she is still the sweetest little kitten. She loves to be held and snuggled and purrs non stop. When anyone comes to see her, she greets them by rubbing against their legs for attention and pets.
At such a young age, Carina has a long life ahead of her! She needs about a month of recovery time before she finds her new furever family. Will you help her by donating to her care?
Personal updates for Carina will be provided to anyone who donates to her campaign.
*Goal includes: surgery, medication, vaccinations, regular health check, and daily care for Carina until she’s ready for adoption. If her medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in her name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
