Each $1.00 donated to the BC SPCA through this contest will
be counted as one (1) vote. You will receive a charitable tax receipt by
email for your donation votes.
The twelve animals with the most votes on May 10th at noon will be featured in the 2013 Animal Lovers' Calendar.
Your gift will mean that the BC SPCA will continue to be there
for animals in need of rescue, protection, medical treatment and ongoing
care until a loving forever home is found.
In appreciation for your support, you will receive a copy of the 2013 calendar by mail this October.
Thank you!
Tiger was found in Trail in July 2008 smelling of gasoline, still smouldering and covered in burns.Someone had set him on fire! Amazingly, after months of surgeries, including the amputation of one ear, Tiger pulled through, with his love for people and trusting nature intact. His sweet personality is a testament to the true personality of pit bulls. Tiger's perseverance in the face of such cruelty earned him the 2009 BCSPCA Courage Award. Today Tiger, a much-loved member of his family, spends his summers in Victoria and winters in Arizona, where he is a star in his community.
His parents are very grateful to the SPCA in TRail and the pit bull rescue organization HugABull for giving this incredible dog a second chance.
